Deadline: 15 February 2024. Democracy week is an annual event where academics and students from FORTHEM universities collaborate on presenting topics on democracy in Europe and the world.
Democracy week is organized as part of FORTHEM’s commitment to the promotion of democratic values and active citizenship. All students and academics that support the main objective of strengthening democracy, human rights and freedom of expression are welcome to contribute and create or collaborate on events for Democracy Week.
Democracy Week is organized in connection with The European Conference in Kristiansand which will take place on Monday 6 May, 2024. All over Kristiansand, events are organized by the municipality, the county, NGOs, volunteer organizations, schools, and the university.
Our goal is to spread the concept to our FORTHEM regions and to hold collaborative online events with the FORTHEM partners.
