Dear FORTHEM students,
A new online course, taught all in English, is opening in the fall 2022 at the languages faculty of the University of Burgundy, thanks to uB’s partnership with FORTHEM Alliance (https://www.forthem-alliance.eu/en/): “Visual and digital cultures”. You will find below some further information and the necessary instructions to register.
- This course is part of FORTHEM Digital Academy and open to international students. The duration of the class is 12 hours for the fall semester (September-December 2022) and is worth 2 ECTS credits. You will also receive a FORTHEM open badge at the end of the course. The class will be taught remotely, on the Teams platform, and will start on Monday September 19st 2022, meeting every Monday evening, 5pm-6pm.
- This course is composed of 2 short classes taught by different professors: for each short class, there will be an evaluation during the semester. International students are allowed to register for this class without having followed it last year, as each teaching component is independent. You will find attached to this message the syllabi for the fall semester 2022.
- This class will welcome around 10 international students, and registration will be on a “first come first served” basis. In order to register (and should you have further questions), please send an email to Prof. Candice Lemaire candice.lemaire@u-bourgogne.fr before May 30th 2022, and copy in your exchange coordinator for information. Once accepted, you will be able to add this “Visual and digital cultures” class to your learning agreement.
